Our friend Carlos, who is the landowner of the Erie and Eden condos on Champlain St, is willing to give us the roof and columns over the front porch of a house he owns (pictured here) that's going to be demolished this summer! The porch is just a few years old and was crafted to match the historic ionic columns all over the neighborhood. Amazingly it looks like the dimensions might work and it would be great to save it from a landfill! Eric has photoshopped it onto our house here - awesome. The only tricky part is going to be getting it around the block in 1 piece. We are still brainstorming on this...
